Get error when initialing proxy

Full message

When a user tried to initial proxy but got the following error messages: voms-proxy-init -voms voname, Error: User unknown to this VO.

Solution

It is caused by that the user certificate did not join VO before initialing proxy. VOMS server did not know what this certificate is. Please join vo you want first. How to join vo please refer to:
