Import user certificate into the Firefox version 1.5 or later.(For Linux)

Notice: The following procedure is just available for Firefox 1.5 and 2.0 on Linux.

KeyManager is a client side PKI tool for key generation, certificate enrollment, and identity and authority delegation.
The KeyManager tool is packaged as "chrome" based Firefox extension and it will assist users in installing certificates at the correct place.
Please make sure that you have already installed the Firefox KeyManager before you complete the online request.

1. After access the KeyManager's page, please click <Install Now (Linux)> button .

2. Accept and install the KeyManager .

3. When you click "Accept and Install" button, that will pop-up a prompt window to install software.

4. Please choose "Install" to proceed the installation.

5. After completed the installation , you must restart the Firefox browser.

6. Please check the tool bar, the Key Manager should been installed at "tools" -> "Key Manager Tool Box"

7. Make sure that Key Manager tool is already installed in the Firefox browser , please access the ASGCCA website to generate the online request . The detailed procedure could be found here . When you submit the request, you should receive the "Generating A Private Key" dialogue as below :

8. After ASGCCA manager approved your request , you will receive a notification included the certificate link. Please download and save the certificate in the local disk first.

9. After you saved the certificate , please follow the procedure to start the Key Manager function.
"tools" --> "Key Manager Tool Box" --> "Key Manager (version info)"

10. At "Your Keys" tag , please click "Import Cert" button

11. Please select your certificate, then click the "open" button.

12. If there is no problem , you will get following dialogue

13. Sometimes, you will get following error messages, please ignore them.

14. Go to check your certificate: "Edit" --> "Preferences"

15. Please go to "Advanced" --> "Encryption", then click the "View Certificates" button.

16. The user certificate is already installed at " Your Certificates " tag.

17. After all complete , please backup your certificate right now and keep it safely.
