How to import user certificate into the browser

When you apply for your certificate, the private key is stored in encrypted form on your browser. After downloading the certificate, the private key is added with the certificate. You can refer to the following ways to import your certificate into the browser.

 

Importing the digital certificate into the Internet Explorer browser:

  • Open the IE browser, choice the "Tools" menu, click "Internet Options".
  • Click the "Content" tab, then choose "Certificates".
  • Click "personal" place that you want to import.
  • Click the "Import" button
  • Click "Next" in the "Import Wizard" window
  • Select "Downloaded file". Click "Next"
  • Store the certificate in "Private"
  • Click "Finish"
  • Or "double-click" the user certificate , it will be imported the IE browser automatically.

 

 

 

 

Importing the digital certificate into the Mozilla FireFox browser:

  • Open the browser, choice the "Tools" menu, click "Options".
  • A large dialog window opens. Choose " Advance " and " View Certificate "
  • Click "personal" place that you want to import.
  • Click the "Import" button
  • Click "Next" in the "Import Wizard" window
  • Select "Downloaded file". Click "Next"
  • Click "Finish"
